The BYS Wrestling program aims to teach young athletes in grades Kindergarten through 8th the essential skills of Folkstyle wrestling. 

Enrolling in wrestling:

• Instills motivation, drive, and the desire to excel in athletics.
• Teaches valuable life lessons like goal setting and self-control.
• Offers training emphasizing hard work and fun.
• Combines football and wrestling skills for stronger, well-rounded athletes.

Important Dates:

• Online registration: Please contact us with inquiries about registration.
• Practice starts: Nov. 7, 2023
• Season: Nov. 7, 2023 - Mar. 7, 2024
• Bulldogs Classic Tournament: Jan. 28, 2024
• Practice sessions: Mon, Tue, Thu 5:30 - 7:00 PM (Wed for make-ups if wrestling room is unavailable).

Where: Wauconda High School, Wrestling Room, 555 N. Main Street.

New wrestlers: Bring birth certificate to first practice.

For every practice: Remember to bring wrestling shoes, headgear, and a water bottle. 

Registration Fee: $275.00 per wrestler 

A discount of $25 is offered for siblings during registration.

$75.00 Fundraising Fee per family (The upfront fundraising fee can be fully recouped through fundraising activities.  Additional details about fundraising will be given at the beginning of the season.)

Payment Options:

1. PAY ONLINE IN FULL: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or e-check.
2. PAYMENT PLAN: $50 at registration, rest auto-debited from the same account on Nov. 1, 2023/Dec. 1, 2023 / Jan. 1, 2024.

Deposit: Singlet Deposit is $150 (postdated check, returned season-end with undamaged singlet).
