Congratulations to the Big 10 Featherweight and Big 10 Heavyweight teams who won last week and are advancing to round 2 of the playoffs this weekend. If you have time this weekend, come out and support all of our players. Here’s the schedule:

We will be raffling off great baskets put together by all of the teams. We will also be doing our big grand prize drawing for $1000 in cash! Come out and support BYS and have a great time.

Equipment
We need to resolve all equipment issues ASAP. We are going to be at Robert Crown on Saturday from 9am to 10am to finalize all equipment. If you haven’t picked up equipment yet or you have equipment issues, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO GET EQUIPMENT ISSUES HANDLED ON SATURDAY OR BEFORE.

Try on all of your equipment and see if it fits ok. You should put the pads in your game pants when you try them on. Do you need to exchange a helmet, shoulder pads, or anything? Are you missing anything? Please check today or tomorrow and come see us Saturday if necessary.

Monday’s Practice (with pads)
Next Monday we will have our first practice with pads on. You should be wearing cleats, cup, practice pants with pads (the pants we gave you are game pants, so you need to purchase practice pants at a sporting goods store if you don’t have them), practice jersey, shoulder pads, helmet and you must have a mouthguard. If you need help, please email us or show up early on Monday and we will get you taken care of.

Parking & Field Rules
At all fields, PLEASE watch your speed and be very careful. We have a lot of kids running around and you need to be extra careful. A couple of other things, obey the traffic laws and stop signs in Riverwalk, respect their neighborhood and no parking on the grass at the high school.

Equipment Pickup – June 25th

Equipment pickup is this Saturday, June 25th from 9am to 12pm at Robert Crown grade school!

Payment Plans
If you have not made payment yet a down payment of $100 will be required on Saturday. Also, if you would like to setup a payment plan for this season, please bring your checkbook with on Saturday. We will require you to write post dated checks for future payments (we will hold on to these and deposit them in the future). You will have flexibility on dates and amounts, as long as payment in full is made by October 1st. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Please join us at the Crystal Ballroom in Crystal Lake for our Year End Banquet on Saturday, December 11th from 11am – 3pm.

Players are presented trophies and get in free! We will have a buffet, raffle prizes, cash bar, silent auction and 50/50 raffle as well. It’s always a lot of fun so please join us for a good time!

BYS Banquet
Signup sheets are due by November 1st! Please get these in right away (look in your parent’s packet). The banquet is on December 11th and is a lot of fun. It is a great way to cap off the season and get together with friends.
