Full Equipment Practice (in pads) starting tonight
All kids who have at least 10 hours (4 days or more) of practice/conditioning in from last week will start practicing tonight with full equipment. If kids have less than 10 hours (3 days or less), they will continue to practice without pads until they have reached the full 10 hours. Kids without pads will be separated and will practice with each other.

Full equipment requirements:
-helmet with mouthguard
-shoulder pads
-practice jersey that fits over shoulder pads
-practice pants (with all pads inserted), game pants should not be worn
-socks, not game socks
-cleats
-protective cup

Practice Information for Monday, July 26
6pm to 8:30pm (if parents leave, please be back by 8pm)

Age 10 and under (as of September 1st) – Practice at Riverwalk (see below for map) on Monday
Age 11 and up (as of September 1st) – Practice at Wauconda High School on Monday

*While practice is going on, the Bulldog Youth Sports Board will meet with all the parents, communicate practice fields moving forward, introduce our Head Coaches, and answer any questions you may have.

*Players will be further divided Monday night (based on age/weight) and practice locations will change for Tuesday night. Practice locations will be announced on Monday night and will be posted here.

Additional Information
-No pads should be worn the first week. Kids should wear shorts, t-shirts and cleats. Helmets and mouthguards are required
-Please bring plenty of water
-We will have practice Monday through Friday until school starts

About The Program
A non-contact football camp focusing on proper warm ups, techniques and mechanics
BYS is partnering with Coach Mills (head coach of Wauconda High) and his staff
For players ages 6-14, players will be grouped by age
Each day will consist of drills and conclude with a 30 minute 7 on 7 practice
Friday’s camp will conclude with a 7 on 7 game by age group

When & Where
Monday, July 19 – Friday, July 23rd (the week before Fall practice starts)
Daily from 6:30pm – 8:00pm at the Wauconda High School Practice facility

Flexible Payment Plans
We know money is tight. We can work out a payment plan with your family that makes sense.

In the past, we have worked out plans that require a down payment and post dated checks for the balance. We can work out the specifics together. We are very liberal with our payment plans and will accept any reasonable payment plan that you propose to us.

We have revamped our website and are now taking registrations online. Our online registration system will allow you to conveniently register from your computer and will allow you to pay with credit card or check.

Registration costs are $285 if you register by April 30, 2010, which includes a $40 Early Bird discount. Registration costs will be $325 after April 30th. You MUST register by April 30, 2010 in order to receive the early bird discount. Register Today!

New Playing Structure in 2010

BYS is constantly monitoring and evaluating the structure of our program to ensure that we are in the best position to be successful. One of our main goals is to provide a program that is consistent from year to year, yet offers us some flexibility in the introductory levels of our program.

In the past we let our registration numbers dictate how we ran the program that particular year, which forced us to change are structure each year. Therefore, the organization has redefined it’s playing structure in such a way that maintains consistency, flexibility and continues to provide a safe playing environment for all BYS players for years to come. Owned by Steve McMichael and Jim McMahon…and now with Jarret Payton on the team, the Chicago Slaughter went undefeated last year as the CIFL Champions!

Bulldog Youth Sports has arranged a special package for adults and kids to go see the Chicago Slaughter on April 24th, 7:05PM at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates. Tickets are only $9/person and include:

-Lower Endzone seating
-Pictures & Autographs with the players after the game, including Steve “Mongo” McMichael
-Face painting and a giant bounce house
